Our
Story
Farm to Family Meals Service Society
Farm to Family Meals Service Society (F2F) began in 2020 to support local farmers and producers, feed seniors, and create community connections. F2F is a registered non-profit society in BC and has charitable status. We can provide tax receipts for donations above $25.
Our Flagship Elder Meals Service is well used, respected and supported in the Denman Island community, and currently serves about 40 recipients.
The Family Meals Service started in response to a growing need to increase supports for young families on Denman Island. The program offers regular, healthy prepared meals and opportunities for children and their caregivers to be together in community. The program has been running twice per month since September 2023 and currently serves around 150 islanders (children and their caregivers).
